    Weather Warrior 300 WSM... accurate?

I have a .308 10FLCP-K and it's super accurate. I'm dying to own a WSM. My preference would be 7mm, but a 300 WSM comes in a close second in my mind. That said... I'm wanting to hear from Weather Warrior owner's or members having shot the WW. Accuracy of the 300 WSM is my chief concern.

    Thanks

I have a pre-AccuTrigger LH model 16 in 300 WSM and it will shoot at or under 1" all day long with my handloads using a 180 gr Nosler Partition @ 3000 fps.

Good to hear Charlie. I've been spoiled by my 10FLCP-K and so far I like my Accustock and Accutrigger. +1 for us lefties!

Trying too locate a 7mm WSM chambered rifle was a real eye opener for me recently. I had scored thirty plus boxes of Winchester Supreme 7mm WSM's for $12 per box. Bought the ammo then had a long hard time finding a rifle chambered for it. From my efforts it looks like for all intents and purposes the 7mm and 325 WSM's are dead ducks. Hardly any rifles available in any make for a three state travel area. Finally found one in a neighboring state listing on GunBroker so drove over too purchase the rifle. Now the 300 WSM seems too be the most popular with the 270 WSM trailing. When you look at the ballistics of each cartridge too those already available the only advantage is the short action. Used 7mm Rem Mags are plentiful and for reasonable costs. Matter of fact you could buy two used Rem Mags Savages for price of a new 7mm WSM. Personally I believe this is a partial reason for there scaricity in gun stores i.e. dealers don't want a flood of more used 7mm Rem Mags they can't sell. Three most common calibers in used rifles seen on dealers racks are 30-06, 270 and 7mm Rem Mag. I never paid much attention to what calibers the used rifles were until recently. Its been a real eye opener.

You could get the 300 and have a 7mm wsm barrel made for it later.
