Actual measured weights of Savage 10 FCP-SR 20" and 24"

Hello all, just interested in the above weights. Savage seems to be pretty loose in reporting accurate weights in their descriptions. I find it hard to believe there is only a 1/4lb difference between the two models

I cut off 3.5" of a heavy 17HMR barrel that is .8" in diameter. It weighs 2.1oz per inch. I am guessing ~1/2lb true weight difference between them.
