I just got a set of standard AI dies from Grafs. They are redding
Anybody have any info on getting dies for a 6.5x55 ackley? Redding doesn't have dies that match my gunsmiths reamer and rcbs doesn't make them, and no longer make custom dies.

Whidden, Hornady, and Lee will make a custom die on fired brass. Lots- o-$$$$. What are the specs on your reamer?
This is what jim at apache sent me.
a true Ackley version it will have a .297 neck, .455 at the shoulder that is 1.754 from the base with an OAL of 2.165 with a 40º shoulder.

Ch-4d replied, it looks like it'll work for you. Pm me your email or get ahold of them. The Redding set is for the .465 shoulder, I should have bought it a month ago.
I am new to the AI for the 6.5 Swede. However, everything I have read shows that it is a good improvement over the standard in terms of straightening the tapered case a bit and changing the shoulder to the benefit of not trimming as much. As for velocity, I cant answer that.

It's probably not worth it, but I'm in it. Email sent
You can use a Lee collet die for neck sizing and a standard seating die.
