Working with some barrel venting

Decided I needed to vent the stocks on both my F-Class rifles. Trying two versions. The first one is a two slot. 3/8” grooves that are 3” long. The second version is three slots 5/16” grooves that are 1-3/4” long.. Layout was the toughest part to make sure the grooves were consistent. I think this will really help dissipate heat during strings.

Looks good, nice job. I like the shorter slots, no particular reason just my preference. Did you also do the check piece?

Thanks. After doing both styles I'm kind of partial to the shorter slots myself.

Yes I did cheek piece also. It is a Warner Tool wheel. The short slotted stock has the same cheek piece set up.
