    Savage .223 DBM

I have a Savage .223 (centerfeed, top bolt release) with factory synthetic stock (not an accustock) and factory DBM with magazine. Does anyone know of an aftermarket DBM that will work with the plastic MDT .223 magazines.

If need be I am willing to buy an accustock if this will make fitting easier. I have already modified a recoil lug for a previous build using an accustock. For this build I used an Accurate Mag DBM which does not work with my plastic MDT mags.

I used the Accurate Mag DBM on my .223 build with MDT mags...? I used an accustock though, I don't know that there would be a big difference though.

MDT and accurate mag don't mix well. MDT has those damn rings around them which cause the release lever mech to not work correctly. Derped serveral times and had a time getting the MDTs out of my accurate mag bottom metals.

you can file down the rings on the back and force them to work though. Magpul 223 aics mags work just fine with accurate mag though.

I used an accustock and Accurate Mag DBM but found it did not the MDT plastic mag even with those rings filed off. The plastic mags would get stuck in the mag well. It worked fine with. 308 metal magazines so that build became a .308.

I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Is there a mod that can please transfer this to 110 Series Bolt-action Rifles?
