    problems closing bolt

went to the range today and had problems closing my bolt. The rifle question is a savage 110 in 308 win. I tried four of my hand loads and three factory loads and non wanted to let the bolt close. Finally I was able to close the bolt and shoot. The rifle then shot well.I did bed the action recently. Does anyone have any ideas.

back the front action screw out a little bit and try to load a round and see if it closes better.

You may have to trim the length of the screw a bit.
