    Polished out stainless

I have had some extra time, so I polished my barreled target action . I took all components apart and polished everything. This action , trigger gaurd, nut, lug, etc was all bead blasted by the original owner. My method was hand sanding with smaller and smaller grit sand papers. I started with 180 and finished with 2000 then proceeded to polish with 3 grits of compound, ( black, brown then green ). I purchased a $30.00 polishing kit that I used my electric drill with different sized bobbs. I probably have 12 hours into all this. I dyed the stock orange and it took the dye very well.I now need to find a good body shop to automotive clear coat it, and I will buff it out myself. I hope I can get the pics to post. Also, the pics do it no justice. The ipad seems to make the pictures a little grainy, and the poor lighting in my basement did not help.
