    Left handed .223 or .204 Model 10

Who owns a left handed Model 10 in .204 or .223?

I need to know for certain if it has an "extended" front bolt baffle. I need one and am having trouble describing the part to Savage customer service. THey send me regular left handed front baffles for left handed chambering rifles like 260 or .308 rather than .204 and .223. I want one that will shorten the bolt travel and I do not want to simply use a right handed one and grind down the little tab that runs along it (I have tried that already) because without that little tab running thru the groove in the action's rails the bolt binds a bit.

Actually, if you would share, I am looking for a serial number for said gun.

    Thanks.

    Norm

Try S/N J442759 That's the S/N from the LH Model 11 Trophy Hunter XP in .223 I reviewed back in 2014, but as you can see in this photo it didn't have the extended baffle on it.

My 12FLV did not come with an extended bolt baffle, purchased in early '14 and is .223

    Maybe that's why I can't get one.

It kinda puzzled me at first but didn't bother me since I was planning on converting it to 308
