Savage edge 22-250

Hello everyone.

I’m a newbie here. Can anyone tell if a edge will fit into a axis stock from Boyds. From the videos and web sites I’ve look at my trigger Guard is different. I inherited this rifle from my grandfather this past summer. I would like to put a different stock on it do to the flex. I’m not really trying to get into a complete build but A new stock and the Nikon scope that I picked up should help me hold better groups for coyote hunting and some ground hogs.

Any help or information Would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

The Edge and Axis are the same rifle. They changed the name due to trademark violations.

Sharpshooter. Thank you for the reply. I am new to this as far as swapping stocks, bedding ext.... I have been doing a lot of research though. And have read through many forms. Savageshooters has answered so many questions for me thus far.
