Smok'n deal on inexpensive FFP scope

Here's the deal...If you want to buy something on sale...Simply have me buy it first and the next day it will be on sale! I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me!

Yesterday I ordered, through Amazon, a Athlon 6-24 First Focal Plane scope..... $369 plus Tx...Free shipping as I'm a Prime member = $392.00

This morning I wake up with an Optics Planet offer in my email....Same scope, same price, free shipping, NO SALES TAX and a 10% off discount code (use code FREEZE)

Comes out to $333.00...........Just about the best deal on a FFP scope.

I've always wanted to play around with a FFP scope and this scope gets very good reviews.

Going on my Cabelas ....Savage 12 in 6.5 Creedmoor

Well now....Just for giggles...I put one "in my basket" and applied the "freeze" discount......Nope..."Not Applicable To This Product"

I guess since they claim it is already 17% off, that the discount won't apply. BS.... as everyone sells it at $369 so this is the street price. Sometimes too good to be true is just that!

^^^+1 for me as well. One thing the great 12FV sale at Cabela's has taught me is that you can be patient and get $100 gift cards for $80 on fleabay. With the stack I have I could get this scope from them for ~$320 shipped.

I would not surprise me if you received the email from optics planet because you were looking for it online. The marketing algorithms tied to each person are quite specific now.

I know I'm a little late to this party, but I'm actually an at home FFL and Athlon Optics dealer.

I’m getting ready to order this scope for my Model 11 Trophy Hunter. Screamin’ deal! What ring height are you using, I plan on keeping the two piece weaver style that came with the gun...

Honestly, spend $25 and get yourself a Weaver 20 MOA rail, there's no reason not to.

The rings I usually sell are the Burris Signature Zee rings with the Argos, but I can also do the Vortex Pro rings.

For anyone interested in the Helos BTR, I do the same deal. The Ares BTR bumps up to Vortex Precision Matched rings and the Ares ETR and Chronus BTR gets you a set of ARC M10 rings.

You got my interest in the Burris rings, since they are elevation adjustable, could that eliminate the need for a 20 MOA rail?

Yes, but I would still recommend getting a one piece rail. Better screws, can't be off from front to back, more adjustability front to back, etc.
