    F class


    I am trying to find out the height of the scope rings I need for savage model 12 F class. I’m putting on a nightforce scope with the 56 mm objective any help would be appreciated

    According to Warne the M12 & a 56mm objectine would need high rings (assuming 30mm tube). They have a selector assist that you can enter rifle, base, scope size, etc. (They make the Nikon mounts as well, I believe). (PS - if it's a 34mm tube Nightforce I'm greatly jealous).

    On my 12 I run a Talley picatinney base with MEDIUM height Talley tactical rings. Leaves plenty of clearance. My Nightforce is the NXS 8-32 with a 30mm tube and 56mm objective.
