    Hi from southern TN


    As you can tell from the title I live in southern TN. I have an addiction to building and fixing things, machining, milling. This is my first Savage, an Axis in .270 and I'am very impressed with everything except the stock. I have been able to shoot moa out to 300 yds out of the box. I'm glad I stumbled across this site and look forward to talking with everyone in the future.

    Welcome.

    Yeah, the synthetic stocks in general don't make my socks roll up-and-down, but it's the action and barrel that make it work and the stock fits me well enough.
