My Savage 243 likes Sierras too!

Shot some 100 grain Sierra Pro Hunters today, over 44 grains of H4831sc in Bowler cases.
Groups ran from 1 1/16 to 1/2 inch for 3 at 100. Given it was 20 degrees and there was some heat mirage, these results are great for an untuned light barrelled sporter on a cold day. 2 shots were called flyers, one in the large group, but all 10 went into 1 1/2 inches.
Can't wait for next deer season. I find myself REALLY takin a shine to this 243.

I love my 243 m11 for hunting deer. It shoots Factory Federal Fusion and Federal Premium 100gr Sierra Gameking as well as my own handloads. Since I only use this rifle for hunting, I don't bother reloading for it anymore.
I have several other rifles and a couple pistols I have to reload for on a regular basis.
