This morning I called Savage Customer service about a problem I am having with the magazine from my sporter barrel rifle bought in 2013. The feed lip on the left side of the mag (as facing forward in the rifle) has worn, and the second and remainder of the rounds will not feed correctly. It seems like the magazine was faulty manufacture from new, and is slowly getting worse. I bought another mag a couple of years ago and it is slightly different and funtions flawlessly. I didn't know if the original would be covered under warranty or not, but they are sending a new magazine, at no charge, to me. Wonderful service and a very knowledgeable young lady that I talked to! That is REAL customer service!! Thank you Savage Arms!
