    Who made these barrels?

I picked these up on another site. Both are 24" long and .85" at the muzzle. Ran a cleaning rod through them and I think they are both 10 twist.

Have you seen any similar stamping? I have a Bison that is similar, but the stamping is radial, not straight.

    Thanks in advance.

That kinda stamping is no special stamping - all barrel makers put the cal on the barrel like such. No name on barrel - who knows who spun it.

Maybe someone knows but I don’t know

Well... Shilen uses a vibratory etcher on the breech end to mark their prefits. McGowen stamping is usually in front of the nut and looks like it was CNC machined. I know these are neither.

Both of these have that 1 stamped opposite and at a right angle to the caliber designation. That almost looks like somebody's signature.

I had purchaseda barrel through a friend and it was criterion 243 and had no makers mark or cal anywhere.

Did you notice that these posts seem to contradict each other?

    Who made these barrels?

Of course they do buddy. I answered the OP and the second post, it was a personal experience I had.

Anything else you’d like to add to the table?

Edit: to be honest, I’m hazy on the maker . It was either xcal or criterion 243 cal. All makers SHOULD put their mark and the cal on the barrel. As you can see on my barrel - none are visible.

Just an FYI, none above is written in an arrogant or offending manner - many people may take it such - snowflakes ❄️ if they do. Cheers!

    Thanks for your input.

Maybe we can hear from someone that does recognize the stamping.
