    Model 11 308 overall length..........

I have noticed that my Model 11 in 308 can be loaded to have a longer C.O.A.L, also the mag box is longer than my Remington allowing me to seat bullets out further and still not touch the rifling.
I am happy with my initial range run today as well, it was short distance at about 40 yds, but I had some good results with some of the 180 grain bullets going through the same hole.
A big dump of snow stopped me from getting into my usual shooting spot, so I had to try it at a shorter distance.
The 165 Hornady , 190 Hornady BTSP, and some old Sabretip bullets showed accuracy right from the first shot.
My scope is an older Bushnell 1.5x4, I am going to put a bigger power scope on it in the spring and take it out hunting for spring bears.
The only thing I did was make sure the barrel was free floated and blue loctited the action screws. So far , I am impressed with the little Savage.
