How loose is your bolt in the receiver

I just picked up my first heavy barrel stainless b mag and I found the bolt is really loose in the receiver. When the bolt is open it will move up and down 1/4” at the back. It’s far looser then any of my other types of rim fire rifles. When it’s closed but but not cocked it’s still loose and moves around. Are they all loose?

I actually just stopped at Cabela’s and had a look at another one and found it was fairly loose as well lol
