    Stevens??

What happened to the Stevens 200? What did Savage do with that line? I have two mod 200s with Riflebasix triggers that are extremely accurate. I'm really shocked to hear they discontinued the 200. Their website still lists the 200.

Anybody have a link to the lineup change?

Well.... If they still list it, it isn't discontinued...
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

Sorry for the dumb question but I had heard that Stevens mod 200 was replaced by the Axis which is a step basckwards.

Nope. The axis replaced the edge.

The stevens is a little better than the axis.

There is only about a $50 price difference twixt the Axis and the model 200 Stevens.
Savage must be trying to cater to buyers in a tough economy.
