    Savage 99M Help

I have a Savage 1899 stamped 99M. The serial# is 1015XXX. The lever boss code is 12M which leads me to believe that it was manufactured in 1961. It has a gold trigger, Brass rotary shell counter, Tang safety, Dovetail ramp front sight with no bead, The forearm does not have a Schnabel, The bolt is jeweled, It has cut checkering, but it does not have a Monte Carlo Stock as the 99M would suggest. What do I actually have?

DL was the model with the Monte Carlo stock, dl was for deluxe. You're not the only one confused about the M designation because there was no model M.
    M's could be DL's PE's F's.

    Pictures would help!

    My guess is an F!

It's a 1961 model DL, hard to find with cut checkering, nice gun.

Ya you can you just need to find a site to host them like imgur.com , photobucket went to hell in a handbasket, don't bother with them.
