Nevermind, I found out myself by buying a box and trying to cycle them. They cycle smooth as glass without needing to tweak anything... regardless of their position fore or aft in the magazine(obviously I won't need a spacer either).
Will .243 Win rounds feed out of stagger feed long action magazine if I rebarrel a 30-06 I have? I currently swap back and forth between LA Barrels/calibers, but have never tried any of the SA rounds. I don't mind a little "tweaking" if I must, but honestly don't want to modify the magazine too much that I have to "tweak" them back when I go back to one of the LA calibers...

Long as the case diameter and taper is similar it's usually not an issue unless it's a really shortened up wildcat or something.

I'd put the longer rear baffle on the bolt to shorten up the bolt stoke going from 30-06 to 243, put the spacer in the back of the mag box and the shorter spring and follower too.

I put together a 243 heavy barrel that was originally 30-06 and it works just fine. Bullets can be seated out far enough to engage the rifling and still feed through the magazine.
I have a .308 barrel on a 110 long action with no spacers or mag modifications. Feeds just fine.
