Question I need a serial number please.

I need a serial number for a 300 Winmag with the metal bottom and lower bolt release (trigger guard loctated).

Trying to be sure I'm ordering the right parts for stock replacement. I read the FAQ with the list of rifles for DBG parts ordering, but 30-06 was as close to 300Winmag as it went.

I currently bought the DOA pkg with the rebate and want to make it nicer.

    Thanks!

I think that the bottom metal for the 30-06 and the magnum are identical, only the magazine differs very slightly.

Thanks! I assumed that was right, but wanted a little confidence booster!

Try H215562. I think it's for a 7mmRM with the BBR. I got the number on here trying to upgrade my 112 TH.

Thanks! Even though I couldn't afford it, I sank another $200 into the budget build and ordered the CDI Precision DBM. I'm sending the Hogue Full Bed stock there and they are installing it free. That guy who owns the place is one of the nicest and easiest going guys I've dealt with in a long time.

the 7mm RM and the 300 WM magazines are marked different and may be dimensionally different if my memory serves me well.

Where are you guys looking up serial numbers at? I've been to Savages website 1000 times in the last 2 weeks and it says it's not available at this time.

Just a part of the reason my rifle is in route to CDI now. Could find the parts website and couldn't get Savage parts on the phone. The factory parts were going to be about $125-150 and I got $200 in the CDI DBM conversion.
