    Greetings from MO!

New to the Savage world-so glad I found your community.

I've got 40+ seasons of seat-time in a treestand chasing Whitetails here in MO, first with my trusty Pre-64 Winchester M94 and for the past 25 years a Browning A-Bolt SS in 270 Win. Shooting trap leagues, pistols and calling Coyotes on a 20 somethings meager budget led me to shooting archery and as with everything in my life, shooting in the back yard was not enough, so enter the world of competitive archery. My wife and I spent the next decade shooting NFAA, IBO, Cabelas and ASA local, state and national events all over the country.

Now that our kids are almost off to college, the shooting bug bit again. I decided on a 10 FCP-SR in 6.5 Creedmoor. It's riding in the back of a UPS trailer as we speak, but will soon be punching some tiny groups, ringing steel and terrifying heavy horns in North MO.

Thanks again for such a great resource!
