Is there any such thing. . .

as a factory wood center feed blind mag stock?

Surely somebody has got to be taking these off and have it lying around.

Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.

There used to be, but Savage hasn't offered any models in that configuration for probably 4-5 years now, if not longer. The blind magazines were all but discontinued shortly after Savage started using the Axis-style magazines on the package rifles. The 10/110 International models - the only current production models that still come with a hardwood stock - are all DBM's.

Yes I have. All of the stocks are labeled as stagger feed or not denoted at all. I called them to ask and they couldn't tell me. They asked me to give them some kind of dimensions to go by and they would measure for me to help pick one out. I am building a rifle, so I don't have an existing stock to go by. I was going to measure the mag box as it would have to be a tight fit to work right when assembled. That is when it occurred to me that maybe Savage never made wooden stocks for blind mag center feeds.

I have a synthetic stagger feed blind mag stock I have thought about modifying to make the center feed work, but I would rather have a wood stock.

I have a blind magazine factory wood stock, but don't know if it's staggered or center feed. If you let me know how to identify it, I'll let you know. If it's what you need, I'll let it go for$30.00 plus shipping.

Stagger feed magazine stays on the action when you pull it out of the stock.

Center feed magazine stays with the stock when you pull the action out of the stock.

Well I'm at a total loss on this one. The rifle I purchased this for is a 110 single shot, so I don't know what feed this was from. When I get home from church, I can upload some pictures. Let me know.

All you have to do is measure the center-to-center action screw spacing. 4.27" = staggered feed. 4.40" = center feed.

Boyd's has a number of them and you can probably find one in the clearance section. That's what I did for my 10FLCP-SR.

I have taken a look at your picture Johnny V. Hole spacing does not denote center feed or stagger feed as both my center feed and my stagger feed action can be installed on the same stock. What will however tell the tale is the size of the inlet for the magazine box. My magazine box measures 3.561 with calipers. For the box to fit tight in the inlet, it would have to be close to that.

In addition, for the magazine retainer to fit, the spacing between the front edge of the rear action screw hole and the rear of the magazine inlet would have to be around .415. As you can see with the attached picture, those don't quite line up. This is a stagger feed stock from another rifle and the center feed mag from the rifle I am working on.

OK, I'm at 3.845" for my magazine opening, and .653" for the front edge of the rear action screw hole and the rear of the magazine inlet (obviously much larger than what you're looking for), but like I said, I bought this with the intention of using it on a 110 Single Shot Action, not a magazine action, so I had no idea if it was from a center or staggered feed gun.

Sure! That is very understandable. Thanks anyway for the offer. If I can't come up with anything else I may buy one like that and modify it to work.
