    Hello from Springtown, TX

Hello all I'm trying to find info on an old Revelation 250 made by Savage... it has been handed down to me from my Grandfather who bought it new in the 50's he passed on about 3 years ago now and I recently pulled it out of the safe. I would like to build a rifle using this action in tribute to him. It's a LA chambered in 30.06, I would like to restock, rebarrel and retrigger only thing I want to reuse is the action. I need info on where to start

Welcome to the group. I believe the Revelation 250 was an inexpensive 110 and (I think) all 110 items will fit. Some Revelations were surprising shooters. If 30-06 is satisfactory I would do the stock first and see how it shoots ( I love the 06). I like the metal bed vs pillars but either is good. So many stocks available. If cost is important, I like the Hogue.
Barrel selection is mostly price driven. Look at the aftermarket barrel posts. I have tried many and all good. Mainly you get what you pay for.
The same with triggers. So many to chose from.
Maybe someone has direct knowledge of the Revelations. Do the search as ttexastom referenced.
It sounds interesting. Keep us posted as you progress.
