    bagged a doe w/ 250 savage

this was the first deer i`ve seen this year while hunting in both archery and rifle season. the gun is a model 14 in 250 savage 100gr. hornady SP over 38gr. H4350. one shot in the lungs, no bullet exit, she ran about 20 yds.

Gotta love that 250 Savage. It is my favorite Whitetail and Antelope gun with 100gr. Ballistic tips. Low recoil and fun to shoot. Nice Doe she should cook up great on the grill. Off to Iowa for gun second season deer next week 3rd year in a row we have been drawn. The 210F I use in Iowa is no treat to shoot not like the 250 Savage.
