    Stevens 200

After trading my heavy barrel 7-08 Savage 110 that I put together I had a good supply of reloading supplies I went looking at the local pawn shops. They usually have a good supply of savage 270 and 30-06 and a few 7 mags. About halfway down the row I spied a savage with a gray stock and lo and behold was a Stevens 200 7-08 after a little negotiations it was mine for 250.00 got it home gave it a good cleaning looks new inside and out. Loaded a few rounds went to the range seems to be a shooter. One of the grandsons will put to good use. Love the pawn shop

A good pawn shop can be a good gun shop. I bought a NIB Winchester Ultramatch at a pawn shop in 1976, and couldn't find one anywhere else. Traded it later for something less accurate, and regretted it.
