    Bushmaster Assault Rifle. Vintage


    Here is another gun no one seems to have info about.The original Bushmaster Arms. Pre Freedom Group Inc.
    The Barrel including muzzle break is 20" The Barrel ends Approx where the charging handle is.
    indicates Assault Rifle. it is a AK style 556 but nothing in the books match
    Appreciate any assistance.

    Wondering if you found anything out about your rifle. Just curious because Bushmaster, aka: Windham Weaponry, aka: Freedom Group, aka: company that *#$@$ everything up, is in my backyard so to speak. I have a fondness for some of there better rifles but have never seen anything like this before. Very interesting. Maybe they have a historic archive of some sort? Worth the check for sure.

    Bushmaster 1st generation. Look up Mack Gwinn to see if you can get more info.

    The original response from them was they had no information on the SN and blew me off.
    then some done got interested and asked for pictures, (Just sent them) so maybe can get some information.
    Will Keep your informed.

    Yea I know It just happens to have Assault Rifle written on the frame.

    Turned out to be a mack gwinn. Pre dates bushmaster and actually nothing to do with bushmaster. Who knew

    That is pretty cool. It looks a bit like the AR-180 but somehow boxier, ungainlier, and uglier...I love it!
