    Smile New guy from North Texas


    I have semi retired and wanted to take up long range precision shooting to keep my mind sharp. I also enjoy the company. I may enter a completion if I can get good enough. Did shoot four gun Skeet in the 1980's before family. Currently I do volunteer work in Christian Ministry. Long range shooting helps me hone my self-discipline skills and I like to see and hear sub MOA hits. I have been doing this since November last year and this year I was able to get out 1000 yards with some consistence. My goal is to get to sub MOA hits at 700 yards and beyond. I would also like to hit a mile some day. Looking forward to meeting you and perhaps seeing you on the range. Blessings

    Welcome aboard. I could have written your first four sentences too. Semi retired (out of work) and fell down the barrel nut/hand loading rabbit hole a couple of years ago. Shoot to 1000 with my 6mmbr built from parts I purchased here. Welcome to the addiction
    Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.
