Savage 1899/ 303 with interchangable 25-35 barrel

Wondering what is the process for getting a letter from the savage historical department.....I realize the gentleman that use to do it, retired. Anybody gone through this since...

I'm not sure the .25-35 would work with a .303 action/magazine, different diameter cases. I've got a .25-35 and an extra .303 barrel. Could not get .303's in the magazine.
