Need help: Caliber decisions: Swapping barrels around

So I currently have a 6.5x55 with a 28” criterion bull barrel for long range and a 6.5x55 with a 24” shilen select match that is my daughter’s hunting rifle. I have a 12 FV coming in 6.5CM

I have a 6.5CM barrel I’m building in an AR10 and I will be getting a 6mmCM barrel as well for the AR10

Am I a fool for wanting to change over my LA rifles in 6.5x55 to 6.5CM to consolidate brass and dies? I figured I need to buy barrels as it is too expensive to ship and have them rechambered.

I need 2 long range and 1 hunting rifle. I don’t really want to sell receivers and buy SA receivers and stocks but I will if I have to. I was thinking about buying a 26” 6.5CM bull barrel to replace the LA 6.5x55 bull barrel, use the 12 FV 6.5CM barrel to replace the 6.5x55 on mydaughter’s LA hunting rifle, and buy a 6mmCM barrel for the new 12 FV receiver.

    What would y’all do?

I have a similar situation between Swedes and Creedmoor's. Personally for one of the long range rigs I would stay with the 28" 6.5x55 Criterion. The Swede gives away nothing to the Creedmoor in that setup. You have the 6.5mm bore size covered pretty good so I would consider the 6mm CM on the new 12 FV receiver.

I already have the 6.5CM AR10 and I’ll have the new 12 FV in 6.5CM. I know the 6.5x55 loses nothing to the 6.5CM, I just do not want to load 2 calibers so similar, prefer to have just one. That way I can bulk order brass. My son shoots a 243, it might get rebarreled as well if I can find a cheap 6CM or 6.5CM barrel. With all the 6.5’s coming out, I’m sure I can get a takeoff barrel for a reasonable price in the near future. The 6mm would be doubtful lol.
