    What happens when you have too many extra parts


    Had a bunch of left over parts.. Enough to build a rifle and that is the scary part.
    110 long action with a short mag box. Savage varmint barrel in 308 Win that has been on three other rifles.
    Holland recoil lug then pillar bedded. Stock is a variation on a BVSS and a varmint stock. I got it in an auction. I don't think it is a Savage factory stock. It seems to have a bunch of factory attributes but doesn't seem quite right. Nice stock just the same.

    Thanks for the compliment. You'd have to fight your way to the front of the line. One of my shooting buddies spoke up the moment I mentioned I though I could build a rifle from just the parts I had on hand. I told him that I hadn't even thought about that part yet and wouldn't he like to know the price first. He said didn't matter as he knows I build good rifles...
