Long-time Savage Fan & Shooter- New to Savage shooters.com
Hello All!
I am a long-time Savage fan and owner here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I have personally owned and enjoyed many different Savage rifles over the years including a Model 10FP, a Model 12BVSS, a Mark II FV-SR, and a Model 93R17 FV. I use my rifles for a little bit of everything including hunting, target shooting, precision matches/competition, load development, and good old-fashioned pew therapy. So I know a little bit but always like to learn more and also interact with my fellow shooters, especially fellow Savage/Stevens fans :)
I recently acquired a Model 10 FCP-SR in .308 which I'm excited to get out and shoot as well as looking at another model in 6.5 Creedmoor and yet another Mark II variant in .22LR for affordable precision practice and to instruct local Boy Scouts/youngsters. Any recommendations or advice on new models to look into is always welcome. Thanks all and nice to be here!
