Howdy folks.
I'm new from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Never did actually get into the swing of things to begin with actually lol. At any rate, I have a new 16 Bear Hunter in 300 wsm coming, and am most excited about it.
However, this is not my first Savage rifle, but my second actually. The first was an original FCP- SR - the one that had the AICS compatible lower metal. Mercy......I'll always regret selling that rifle! At any rate, just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself a little. Sure do look forward to making some friends and learning all that I can.

Welcome. Of the several 300WSM's I have owned or shot, the Federal 165gr Fusion ammunition shot great in all. Might give it a try. Wife and I are originally from Boone.
