    accutrigger


    this is my first time playing with an accutrigger.

    how do you re-install them on the action?
    I am ok with everything, but I cant get the safety tang to stay on
    is there a trick or something Im doing wrong

    You are asking a pretty touch one. You might google this, I think it came up before.

    There are U tubes out there on it. Try looking that up.

    American Gun Institute has an armors DVD on the Savage that might be worth picking up.

    I don't have one apart right now to do a run through. I don't recall anything tricky. The bolt release/sear offsets differently that it seems like it would bit in (off to one side and not the middle per memory)


    Safety just has a notch that it indexed into and slides in.

    Look at the top and bottom pieces together. You will notice that it slides in something like a dovetail. When you place the button on the action you will see how the safety slides int it. Once it is together it will not fall apart in the normal range of motion.
    The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
