    Safety Help ?

I have a pre accu trigger 110, took trigger group apart to clean up and inspect. Everything checked out but when I reassembled and was doing a function check I couldn't engage the safety, very very hard. I've tried just about everything. Adjusted all set screws. If I remove bolt everything works smoothly, but safety wont engage if bolt is in place. Safety was working fine before I broke everything down. Any ideas ?

make sure you adjusted the trigger correctly. Some of the adjustments are done with the action cocked, but some are also dont with it de-cocked. Just sounds to me like the safety screw is out of adjustment.

    heres the dierections:

Make sure the cross pin is between the safety bar and detent spring.

    Re: Safety Help ?

I followed all instruction on trigger adjustments and everything checks out....but still cant slide safety all the way to the safe position. Cross pin is centered on detent. Seems like safety bar is not going in all the way into notch on bolt. I can force it on but it really binds up. If i take bolt out everything moves smoothly. Any other suggestions ? Thanks for all your help.

    Re: Safety Help ?

My guess is that the "safety adjustment screw" needs to be turned out a bit.
Had the same problem on one of my Accu Triggers. Only problem was I had to remove the trigger and adjust it from the top. The screw hole was plugged but no screw slot or socket for an allen wrench under the plug. The safety would go on when I "really" forced it. Backed the adjustment off a bit and it works fine now. Too much isn't good either. Might only take 1/8 th. turn, if that.
