Is there any alternative to the pacific tool & gage machined bolt head?

They can be a bit hard to come by unless a member has one lying about. Might try Numrich.

Just went thru that "hunt and find" for a LA .378" bolthead. Ended up at PT&G for bolthead. Bolthead kit from Gunshack for extractor and ejector parts. Numrich may have bolthead and complete bolt from time to time.

Do it the easy way and buy a complete 223 LA bolt.

Changed my plan. I already have a model 11 with .378" face. so I will work on upgrading that.
