Is floating the tang still critical with the Accu-stock ?

Eliminating stress is always critical. Floating the tang is usually how it is accomplished on a Savage action.
I don't think it matters what stock your talking about, but I could be wrong.

Yea, kinda what I thought too. I was hoping not to have to attack a brand new stock. Looks like some tweaking is in my future.
