    Twist rate for a LRP .260.

    Should be a 1-8" twist. It's what they use on the 6.5 Creedmoors and it wouldn't make any sense to do the two cartridges with different twist rates. When the .260 Rem first came out it had a 1-10" twist which handicapped the cartridge, then Remington changed it to a 1-9" twist which was still marginal at best for the popular 140-grain bullets. Now 1-8" is pretty much the standard for the 6.5's.
