barrel crown

been fighting an accuracy problem on a bench rest rifle for a few months. bought it used last winter 6mm dasher, kelbly action 1 in 8 twist, weighs 15 lbs. bore scopes out great, just some minor heat cracking. anyway after beating my head against the wall a lot, I took out the magnifying glass and it has a couple minor imperfections on the crown, can't get better than 1 inch groups at 200 yds. i'm thinking this thing has to shoot better than that, will probably hit it with a brass oval headed screw chucked in a drill with some fine lapping compound
