    Who does inletting?

I know CDI does, but does anyone else do stock inletting?

For what? Bottom metal? Complete inletting? Opening up a barrel channel?

Not aware of anyone specifically marketing that service other than for their own bottom metal or their own stocks. Many of the stock makers can inlet or have a mold insert for most popular bottom metals, but they generally won't inlet someone else's stock for you (i.e. SSS won't inletting a Boyds or Choate stock as they sell their own line of stocks). As such it basically falls on the bottom metal manufacturer to provide the service like CDi does, but not all bottom metal makers offer such service (i.e. PT&G). At that point you're left trying to find a competent gunsmith that can do it without turning your stock into a hacked up piece of scrap lumber.
