    Hello from Texas!!!

I am an AR guy; I build Ar15s and Ar10s and have largely ignored bolt guns.... untill now. I recently shot a friend's Savage 110 and just decided that I just needed to get one. So I just picked up a Savage 10 BA Stealth last Thursday.

Now I am wanting to upgrade the scope base to a 20 MOA type, but I am not sure if the receivers in these things have the "rounded rear" or the "flat rear".... Can anyone here tell me with certainty? Hope someone knows for sure so I can order the right one. Thanks.

    Gene

Welcome to the site! All receivers made since 2003 or so are the round top. It refers to where the rear two scope base screws are. On the 1958-2002-ish guns this area was machined flat.
