one question: after spending bo que bucks on a nightforce, and the not so cheap burris rings, why skimp on the base with waht you did and not spend $40.00 on a 25moa rimfire tecnologies or even a 20 moa egw one piece base?

Good job. If you have a drill press, you might drill those together, or if the bases can take it, just hit with a bead of weld.
But if epoxy works, hey, more power to you! :)

I typed into Google "What is stronger than J B Weld and found that Belzona product.
Click on the link above and you can see them lift a car up with the attachments epoxied with
the Belzona.
I guess I can use that on my Savage 110 chambered in .416 Taylor... 8-)
