    Bi pod for savage 16

Just took my new savage 16 to the range. It shot consistently Los and to the right. Got the height fixed. No luck on centering. The range officer suggested add-ons a bipod to help accuracy. Any thoughts? If yes then what bipod do you recommend. My rifle has the black plastic stock.

I get good results with a Caldwell swivel and added the swivel lock. I also have a harris and another cheap brand tactical kind. They all work pretty well.

Learn to "load" the bipod for consistency.

But, not sure that it will fix the problem you are having...

Two things. * No luck centering. This would be a scope issue if you were not able to bring the POI to the bull. This could also be from pulling hard on the trigger. If you have a smart phone focus the camera on your trigger finger and your face if possible. Look for flinching or jerking of the trigger. ** If you are new to shooting the best investment is ammunition and working on technique.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
