    Dating a lefty find 27608

I found a 110L in a local store. What is the approximate date of manufacture? Thank you for your assistance.

If you can find the date code on the rear of the barrel I can date it and you'll help me fill in a gap in my records on these old 110's.

It's an early one, probably 60 or 61.

See if you can find a small oval with a number and a letter stamped inside of it, might need a magnifying glass, they were pretty small stamps.

The letters SP within a small oval is stamped twice in the barrel next to the barrel nut.

Nope, thats a proof mark. Maybe it's on the receiver, should be a number and a letter stamped inside of it.

    No prefix! Lol

I have a 110 in 7mag with serial number 38547. No prefix. Has "29P" stamped on the barrel, just forward of the barrel nut.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
