    110c stock replacement

Hey all, I am new to the forum and have read through lots of posts so I know there probably isn't an easy answer to my question. I have a model 110c long action top bolt release side mag release that was given to me many years ago. The stock is in rough shape. I know you can't get an exact replacement unless custom made. I don't have the cash to spend on those tho. I want to keep the side mag release and wondered if I could make a 110 or 111 work with a little woodworking. Or i know boyds has a 111 side release stock but I don't know if it will fit the older model 110c. Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

Which style bolt does your rifle have?

If you have the bottom style the Boyds stock will fit. Rifles that had the top style (1958-1965) had a shorter trigger assembly and if you put them in a newer style stock the trigger will only stick out about 1/2" or so.
