Scope Ring Height for Savage Stealth

    Hi All,

I am planning on mounting a nightforce bench rest scope on my stealth. It happens to be a scope I currently have available. Still waiting for the gun to arrive. Trying to save a little time and go ahead with a scope ring order as well. So has anyone mounted a 56mm objective lens scope on the stealth? If so what height rings did you use. Thanks

Different brand rings have different heights so you will really need to do the math to get it right. I mounted a Bushnell Elite Tactical DMR II-i with 50mm objective on the one I reviewed with Warne Maxima low rings (#220 M) and I still had quite a bit of clearance as you can see.

I changed the scope rail to a 20 MOA,Vortex Matched low rings and a Vortex PST 6-24x50 with room to spare.
