Shilen barren MidwayUSA SIN arms barrel nut?

Bought a new Shilen 110 Barrel from MIDWAY USA https://www.midwayusa.com/product/18...tainless-steel and a SS barrel nut off eBay from a place called SIN ARMS because its made in the USA but it will not fit the new Shilen barrel....... factory barrel nut will fit the barrel but it most likely has looser tolerance, any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

You can try another barrel nut from one of the other sponsors here on the site like Northland or gun shack or contact the seller on Ebay and explain your problem. Worse case scenario you use the factory nut.

Are the tops of the threads on the barrel sharp or is it flat/smooth? Do you have the ability to mic the major diameter of the barrel threads?

    Return your nut, EBAY, hmmm

NSS Nut Fit my Shilen perfectly. Jim checked it before he shipped it to me.

Have to love the follow up.

Buff the ID lightly with 400 grit to knock the sharp V down, fit them with fine lapping compound, or send it back.

It may have the perfect thread pitch and still interfere in the crest or trough.

I have had to do this on several builds...

Works fine... although you will find that nut isvreally hard...

The Id is good. 77% thread is like 1.012 and 80% is like 1.015. Does the Sin nut fit the factory barrel. If I remember correctly one of my Shilen barrels had a like a class 3 thread fit. Only one of my spare nuts fit it.

JMHO Sin Arms does good work. If it is the nut I bet he will swap it out. You have already gone the Sin route, follow through. Everybody gets bad stuff out every now and then.
