    Timney Trigger replacement for accutrigger

    All,
My wife's accutrigger model has a good trigger but the safety is now sloppy (no good defined clicks when you slide from safe, to half safe, to fire). The only way to make those defined clicks come back is to up the trigger to the 4lb mark (she likes a 2.5lb trigger). I like these Timney triggers but I am little worried that it does not have the "safety blade" thing because isn't that the whole point of the accutrigger is being able to make the triggers light but prevent a sear from accidently firing due to a light trigger? any other thoughts?

The accutrigger was introduced to satisfy the lawyers while giving customers what they want, (better triggers). The safety blade is not necessary for a safe trigger in the 2.5# range. That being said, I have no idea if a new trigger will fix the problem with the safety.

Sounds like an adjustment is needed.
