I have always been interested in the different...have been playing with single barrels for awhile, have a number of wildcats in the Encore family, one a re-chamber, one a barrel stub (.25X .307 AI) and recently a .25 X .223 in an AR application (have a 13 year old grand daughter that knocks our TN whitetail sideways with it). I have a number of CZ rimfire rifles that I have pillar bedded to good result. I like to tinker...
I have recently ponied up the money for an elk hunt in Montana, (mid November '17) being 63 I feel the time is coming up to do or not do. I am now desirous of putting together a .338-06 AI for that trip.
I am here to glean and learn. I have nothing but good intentions at this point, I will need donor rifle, barrel and tools, instruction and encouragement.
