Model 11 .308 first thoughts............

Just got it in the mail, I have not shot it yet.
There is no Accutrigger, but it isn't horrible either. the barrel is nicely floated as advertised and it is smooth in the action.
I am not a big fan of detachable mags, this one seems snaps in solidly and releases easy.
Overall my first impression is that Savage made a decent little gun, I have had a lot of Savage lever guns, but this is only my second bolt gun.
The last one I had back in the 80's was a wood stocked 7mm mag, should have kept it.
